#724. Texas Milo Field

June 18, 2011  •  Leave a Comment
Taken Thursday in, or near, Tivoli, Texas on the way to Fulton from Goliad, Texas. To my untrained eye these corn plants look pretty healthy. Either the Tivoli area hasn't had quite the drought conditions Houston has had or I just don't know corn. :-)

Update:  Turns out I don't know corn at all!  :-)  WJ provided the explanation that this is actually Milo!  Thanks WJ!

Title: "Texas Milo Field"

Camera / Lens: Canon 5D Mark II / Canon 24-105mm L zoom
Post-processing: Photomatix Pro to combine three exposures (-2, 0, +2) into one High Dynamic Range (HDR) image > Photoshop CS 4 > Topaz Adjust plugin > Nik Viveza 2 plugin
